It's been a while... my real life has kept me incredibly busy for the past two weeks. Last night I finally found time to play another game, though. This time: Changes, by David Given.

I don't have time to write a full review of Eurydice, by Anonymous, tonight, as I've already stayed up too late playing it. But I feel so strongly about it that I'm going to go ahead and write about it now anyhow.

I definitely fell asleep playing IF last night... when M. came home he found me out cold on the sofa with my laptop on my lap. So bad for my neck! I had only gotten about four moves into Murphy's Law, by Scott Hammack. I finished it this morning.

( This review is fairly spoiler-heavy - I won't reveal solutions to puzzles, but I will discuss events that occur pretty late in the game. )

Side note first: I always download all the comp games as a bundle. This year, that often means that each game folder contains not just the game itself and a walkthrough, but also often a zipped "feelies" folder. "Ooo!" I keep thinking. "Feelies! Maybe they're fun!" After making him suffer through something pretty awful a year or two ago when playing a random Comp game, I decided not to make him gamble along with me. Living Will, by Mark Marino, is a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure style IF, where instead of typing in commands ("get koala," "eat cayenne," and the like), the player clicks on options to proceed.
